XR420CT
The XR420CT is a marine conductivity and depth recorder.
Conductivity, over the range 0-70mS/cm is measured using an inductive cell. The thermistor for temperature measurement is usually located within the unit's body but a version is available with an external thermistor for fastest response time.
MEA is the Australian distributor for Canadian company Richard Branker Research (RBR). RBR manufactures a range of products for use in oceanographic research. RBR instruments are self contained and may be used to considerable depth. The internal lithium batteries provide a life span of up to three years.
