The MEA2173 precision temperature sensor is used to provide continuous measurement of thermal stratification in reservoirs and lakes. The sensors are built into a single cable, hanging from a buoy or raft down through the water column.
Sensor matching between depths is more important than sensor accuracy in these applications and the MEA2173 thermistor strings have inter-sensor matching of better than 0.006 degrees C. Sensors use the SDI-12 protocol. |
