Testing

Testing is a vital part of constructing a measurement system. Whether the system is a custom build or standard product, at MEA it undergoes a mandatory period of test (a run-in period) to identify and eliminate technical problems before the system reaches the customer. When we boast turn key systems, this is exactly what we deliver.

With the large number of components in a measurement system (data logger, sensors, communications devices, electronic interfaces, solar recharge devices and software) the list of things that can go wrong is extensive.

It is rare that components sourced from a variety of different manufacturers (or even the same manufacturer) will integrate together in the desired fashion without issues to resolve.

MEA's years of experience and accumulated knowledge with a wide range of instrumentation means that we have a solid database of known faults and issues and are experienced enough to identify new faults and correct them quickly.

Though we do not perform in-house calibrations, we maintain standards to test the compliance of a range of sensors. When standards are not available and the application requires it, we will source the necessary standards to check the equipment properly.

By building and testing our measurement systems we are able to offer an operability guarantee which removes the burden of dealing with these issues from the customer entirely.

The result is a system we can support with confidence.
