Custom Weather Stations
MEA can build customised climate monitoring systems to meet the needs of specialised applications.
This means that any variety of climate, water, soil moisture or gas based sensors can be integrated into a single system.
Data collection options include local data retrieval, landline modem, mobile phone modem, satellite modem, radio links or direct to web data delivery. SMS alarms are easily programmed.
MEA's mechanical design department can build the weather station to meet the individual needs of each application, with customised sensor mounts, masts of any kind to any height, cable and lightning protection and vandal resistant enclosures.
Equipment Specification
Each system is built around a multi channel data logger with storage for several months of data recording. A variety of power options are available but most systems are powered by solar cells and a rechargeable battery.
The data logger is managed with Magpie software.
MEA provides a complete installation and commissioning services using the services of a network of Accredited Service Agents. Customers may also choose to install the systems themselves.
Each system is supplied with a set of comprehensive manuals covering installation, operation and maintenance tasks. All systems are covered by a 12 month return to factory warranty.
