Temperature and Humidity

The HMP45A is an air temperature and relative humidity sensor. Each probe is delivered from the factory with a calibration certificate with a traceability to international standards.

HMP45A Sensor

The Vaisala HMP45A measures air temperature and relative humidity. The sensor is housed in the MEA2184 or MEA2182 sensor shelter. The HMP45A measures up to 100% relative humidity, critical for disease prediction measurements.

6507 Temperature Sensor

The 6507 is a thermistor temperature probe used in soil and water temperature measurements to an accuracy of around 0.25 degrees C. The sensor is fully sealed ane can be used to a water depth of 2 metres. The sensor is also used for air temperature measurements, housed in the MEA2181 sensor shelter. A pair of 6507 sensors may be match calibrated to an accuracy of +/-0.05 degrees C.

MEA2173 Thermistor String.

The MEA2173 precision temperature sensor is used to provide continuous measurement of thermal stratification in reservoirs and lakes. MEA2173 precision temperature sensors are built into a single cable, hanging from a buoy or raft down through the water column. Sensor matching between depths is more important than sensor accuracy in these applications and the MEA2173 thermistor strings have inter-sensor matching of � 0.006� C. Sensor output is the environmental-industry standard SDI-12.
