Aquaflex Sensor

The Aquaflex soil moisture content sensor measures the average moisture over a 3 metre length and a volume of 6 litres. It is particularly suited for use in turf areas such as tennis courts, sports stadiums, and horse race tracks. The Aquaflex also is used widely in horticulture where the sensor is buried horizontally in the root zone, and in landfill and composting applications.

This product can be used with the Aquaflex hand held reader, the ABug, MEARadio and in MEA's custom measurement systems.

Theta Probe

The Theta Probe is a very reliable, accurate soil moisture content sensor. Theta Probes are robust, buriable and maintenance free and can be easily installed at depth in the soil by inserting them into augered holes.

Theta Probes provide an absolute, not relative, measurement.

Theta Probes are widely used in research as well as many irrigated agricultre and turf applications, landfills, composting and hydrology.

It is particulalrly useful as a handheld sensor.

This product can be used with the HH2, TPReader, TBug and MEA Radio. This sensor is also used in MEA custom engineered systems.

SM200 Sensor

The SM200 is the baby brother of the Theta Probe. It measures a slightly smaller volume of soil and is used as a buriable only sensor.

This product can be used with the TBug and MEA Radio. This sensor is also used in MEA custom engineered systems.

Profile Probe

The Profile Probe hails from the same family as the Theta Probe and SM200 sensors. It is available as either a one metre, six sensor or half metre, four sensor probe. It is installed in an access tube and may be used as a portable instrument or as a fixed sensor.

This product can be used with the HH2 Reader and MEARadio. It is also sued in MEA custom engineered systems.
